Tour of the William Morris Gallery, Walthamstow CANCELLED

The very popular “Meet the Man” tour offers an introduction to William Morris’ life and work through key works on display. You will be shown Morris’ varied interests in craft, politics and literature, as well as introduced to his close collaborators. A beautiful contemporary garden just behind the house includes many of the plants which feature in his designs.

Deeney’s Cafe on the ground floor serves a range of hot and cold drinks, sweet treats such as cakes and pastries plus bigger bites when the lunchtime hunger hits.

A visit to William Morris Gallery wouldn’t be complete without a walk in Loyd Park. The park was  originally the garden and grounds surrounding Morris’ home; an inspiration for his love of nature.
